There are many beautiful and unique areas located in California that you and your family are able to visit or go on vacation! There are many regions in California that offer beach camps, mountain ranges, and snowy mountains.
There are many beautiful costal sites and campgrounds in California. One of the costal campgrounds is Crystal Cove Park. Crystal Cove Park features RV campgrounds and even has close touch with the beach and makes it easy to go reach the ocean waters or small tide pools that reside on the beach. The campgrounds of the Crystal Cove have many hiking trails that sometimes lead to historical cottages! Crystal Cove Park can be located at the coast of Southern California and specifically in Orange County.
Another coastal campground is also known as Sunset State Beach. Sunset State Beach is RV friendly and even has a campground that is in close proximity towards the ocean along with many sand dunes reaching to the ocean water. The reason why it is called Sunset State Beach is it has a stunning sunset that happens before night fall. Sunset State Beach is a relaxing location to vacation at. Sunset State Beach is located in Watsonville on the coast of Monterey Bay in California.
Here in California there are large mountain ranges in the mountains surrounding the eastern side of California. Most of these mountain ranges are RV friendly and I could name some that are beautiful and relaxing. Yosemite National Park has tons of beautiful scenery, waterfalls, large valleys, and many rivers. Yosemite National Park is a popular place in the mountains, and is a very peaceful place to stay when going camping. Yosemite National Park is one of the most visited places in California and there is an estimate of 4 million visits per year. Yosemite National Park is located in the mountains near Nevada but is still in California.
Another mountain range is also known as Lake Tahoe. Lake Tahoe has an enormous crystal clear lake that provides many species of fish that many fishermen spend time trying to catch. people also like to go to Lake Tahoe to visit for a day or stay there for summer for camping. Many people love to camp and hike around the large lake. People also kayak around the lake and camp on the small island on it for small longer camping trips. Lake Tahoe is located in the Sierra Nevada Range in California.
Even though California doesn’t have many snowy mountains that are always snowing, there are places like Siskiyou Mountains and Trinity Alps that are only snowy in the winter. The Siskiyou Mountains are snowy only in winter, but even when it only snows in the winter many people go snowboarding and skiing in the area that the Siskiyou Mountains cover. The Siskiyou Mountains are located next to the Oregon border and is quite far if you live in central California.
At the Trinity Alps it receives snowfall in winter and Just like the Siskiyou Mountains, many people go there to go skiing, snowboarding, etc. You can do the same things as if you were at the Siskiyou Mountains as well, but the Trinity alps is also just as beautiful as well. The Trinity Alps is located northwestern of California and in the Klamath Mountains.
